Hi Bryan, Just finished your book! Enjoyed the story. I laughed out loud quite a few times- What an adventure! What ever happened to Muzzy? Did you ever see Misty again? And the couple from Boread? I loved the description of the people just as much as the intense moments when you were sailing alone (I almost didn't want to turn the page for fear it would get worse) but obviously you lived to tell the tale!
On a more technical level: There were a few editing issues. However, the writing kept it going; good flow from one adventure to the next. Hopefully you will write something else!?
Thanks for the comment. Well, Muzzy is living in Australia with his girlfriend. Misty is back in Oahu still sailing and the couple from Boread finally broke up and sold their boat. Although Darren bought a bigger boat and has been sailing the south seas for the past few years now with a new girlfriend.
Thanks for the heads up with the editing. I know there are some issues I have to clean up before my next reprint. I'm still writing travel articles for magazines but I haven't locked into a full book idea yet. Maybe in the future.
